Conklin Farms Camping Weekend, November 2009
| What a site. This is truly a breath taking site to camp in with the location right on the Delaware River. The site is big, with plenty of space to hold a great Scouting program. During this trip, we had a number of newer scouts join us. So, we went over a lot of the fundamentals like fire building, cooking and hiking. The Scouts went on a nice day hike taking in a lot of the beautiful river site area of TMR, and cooked some great meals! The game of "infiltration" made its return, and was a highlight for the young Scouts on the trip. |
